Oak Frame of new Pure Leisure Group HQ in Carnforth starts to take shape

The oak frame that forms the main internal structure of the new HQ offices of the Pure Leisure Group starts to take shape. The building which externally will be finished with locally sourced stonework walls at low level with full height piers to the oak post positions, topped with patent glazing under a slate roof will form a prominent feature along the A6 just outside Yealand Redmayne and will offer staff an ideal view eastwards out across the Gait Barrows National Nature Reserve and the open countryside towards Burton-in-Kendal to the west. The existing dated office building on site will be demolished to allow a new display & sales area for the groups caravan parks to be formed.
